Trebuchet scores a hat-trick at Anglian Business Awards

Trebuchet scored a hat trick at the Anglian Business Awards this year, securing three finalists, two winners and its Medium to Large Business Award category winner, the Ant Group, claiming the Business of the Year award.

Trebuchet wrote winning entries for EACH Hospices, winning the Marketing of the Year Award, and Scott Russell, claiming Business Person of the Year.  A client, Falcon Promotions was also a finalist in the outstanding customer service category.

In the past two years, 86% of award entries submitted by Trebuchet have been finalists or award winners.

Speaking about the Medium to Large Business of the Year finalists, Trebuchet PR & Marketing Director, Sue Wilcock commented: “Each of the shortlisted companies demonstrated in their own way that they would have been a worthy winner, but we were looking for a business that had the wow factor.”

“The Ant Group demonstrated astonishing innovation in new product development. Working with many international brands, to deliver best value and cutting edge design. Ant Group’s tight-knit team has also successfully used the recession to diversify its offering and expand its sales operation into Europe, Asia and America.”

The Medium to Large Business of the Year finalists included Adnams Hotels, Ipswich Building Society, Stokes Sauces and Suffolk Secrets.

The event was hosted by Radio 4's John Humphrys.
