East of England Co-operative TV ad

Last August saw the exciting launch of a new 30 second television commercial for longstanding client, East of England Co-operative Society. The ad forms part of their ongoing ‘Love Your Co-op’ campaign which we have been heavily involved with including the creation of the brand.

The project began in June when we came up with an initial concept and storyboard creation. Working with the Co-op’s marketing department and Stone Productions, everything was developed and fine-tuned ahead of the shoot in July at Wickham Market Community School. The professional actors and models were ably supported by members of the staff and around 50 schoolchildren. Trebuchet’s Peter Jenkins was consultant on the shoot helping to maintain creative continuity.

Huge thanks goes to everyone at the school - the kids were amazing and extremely patient, particularly during the showers that brought things temporarily to a halt a couple of times. The children cooked a 3 course lunch, waited on us and even created handmade menus. They got fully absorbed in the process, working on several school projects based on the day’s activities.

The team from Stone Productions worked incredibly hard and special thanks must also go to Leigh Hemmings for organising and managing everything so well and to Jon Lyddon in the edit suite.
